Strategia Advisory was formed in 2016 by Ian Rae and Stephen Sharp with a primary goal to provide independent, experienced professional services and products to our chosen clients.

Our mission is “to do interesting and challenging work with like-minded people by utilising our expertise to assist our partners and clients to succeed”.

Our core values, integrity, trust and accountability are derived by Frederick Hertzberg’s seminal research on motivation back in the 1960s. Hertsberg’s research identified responsibility, the work itself, achievement and recognition as the most powerful motivators; influencing significantly on how Strategia Advisory as a Firm continues to successfully operate.

With a proven track record at Director Level and experience in delivering major change programs across a range of industry sectors including banking and financial services, a highly motivated; client focused team player that has extensive experience in Technology, Program Management, Procurement, Cost Control and Real Estate Management.

Ian Rae

Director

An experienced IT Director with a wide knowledge of business activities across wholesale and investment banking and a track record of delivery of technology solutions to meet business needs.

Steve Whitaker

Steve Whitaker brings over 25 years of banking experience and has spent the last 3 years in the GCC.  He is an executive leader and prior CIO who specialises in complex and challenging change programs in the Banking and Finance Industry. He has successfully delivered a number of digital, business and technology transformation programs

Steve has designed and implemented several IT strategies; transforming not only the  technology capabilities but enabling cultural shift and operating model changes through scaled agile and DevOps adoption
